Where young minds come to grow...

WELCOME to my Early Years BLOG from Windsor, Ontario, CANADA! Parents, I encourage you to use this blog with your child. Have them explain to you what they were doing, learning, exploring, creating etc. Use this as an opportunity to talk about school and to allow your child to reflect on their day.

All About Mrs.Laforest

I have been a teacher for ten years. I spent most of my career in Special Education assignments. I am very excited to be new to Kindergarten!! I have always been fascinated by the academic and social development that happens for our youngest learners. I am on a journey to learn more about how young children interact with their environment through inquiry-based play. As a mother of two young children, I also get the opportunity to watch my own children learn through asking questions and play. Please join me on this journey!

All About Ms.Lauzon

I have been an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) with the public school board for 3 years. Prior to this, I was a Child and Youth Worker. This is my second year at Dr. David Suzuki School and I am loving every minute of it! I believe that learning is a journey in which children need to be allowed to navigate, discover and explore the incredible and fascinating world around them.
